Not to mention the air dodging in this game isn't as horrid as everyone says. If you predict them correctly you can jump at them, watch them air dodge then smack them during the second half of it when they're vulnerable.
Really.. in Melee if Fox or Falco knew what they were doing you were just their toy. Even with Peach Sheik or Marth they could just bat you around like a little plaything. -.-
In Brawl certain match ups are close to impossible (DK Vs. Dedede for instance) but that doesn't mean you can't win if you play it smart. Brawl is nowhere near as unbalanced as Melee.
Thing I like most about Brawl is almost every character can leave the stage to edge guard safely. In Melee their were characters that wouldn't ever go further then maybe an inch away from the stage ledge unless you were Kirby or Jiggly and sometimes Peach. Edge Guarding is by far my most loved thing in Brawl. =p
