The best year is already behinde it.
2017 had Zelda BoTW + Mario Odyssey + Mario Kart 8 delux + Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

No following year(s) is going to beat that for the Switch.
Those are the biggest heavy hitters Nintendo has, and Switch got them early.

Switch 2020 is like Animal Crossing + Xenoblade 1 +  Tokyo Mirage Sessons FE.... not a big year.
I dont think any year left in the switch will beat 2017.

This reminds me of your posts after the Switch reveal when Nintendo had announced that 70 publishers were working on 100 games or something like that. You then used those numbers to downplay Switch's software pipeline because "100 games over the course of four years" weren't going to be much. Now, three years later, you are employing the same flawed logic despite those initially confirmed 100 games turning into well over 2,000 game releases in under three years. What's the lesson here? Lack of announcement does not mean lack of development, so writing off 2020 at the current point in time is plain foolish.

1 new game, that has a niche market space (big in japan) and 2 ports? common.
Both Playstation and Xbox will dwarf that this year... in terms of exclusives.

What makes you think 2020 is a "big" year for switch exlusives then?

ei. your own words back at you, "why are you pretending that it is!?"

The reason why people can be confident about Nintendo's 2020 is because Nintendo always has more games to release in the second half of the year than in the first half. It's called common sense.

What's amusing is that you say Animal Crossing has a niche market space when it is a series that is selling 3m+ copies in every major region, so it's clearly an IP with global popularity. Additionally, in this post of yours sales began to matter, but in the one before Xenoblade Chronicles 2 had qualified for your list. You denounce ports in your more recent post after considering Mario Kart 8 Deluxe eligible before. Hm...

Furthermore, you commit the rookie mistake to expose yourself by putting Xbox over Switch in terms of exclusives. If there was someone who had doubts about your agenda in this thread, said doubts are certainly washed away now.

1) I cant remember that far back, and doubt that I said such.

2) thanks for actually replying something "real" instead of just quoteing to shit post me.
"because Nintendo always has more games to release in the second half of the year than in the first half."

Thats a valid reason, you guess theres more to be announced. Thats ofc is no more valid than my thinking they wont (announce big IP exclusives soon).
Both of us are just guessing. Your guess shouldnt allow you to name call people.

3) "Furthermore, you commit the rookie mistake to expose yourself by putting Xbox over Switch in terms of exclusives."

Where did I do that? Because I assume Xbox Series X launch, will mean Xbox has more "big" exclusives in 2020 than Nintendo does?
You dont expect with the launch of a new console, that Xbox and 3rd party big IPs at launch, will be higher than what Switch recieves this year?
Im not a nintendo hater, or a xbox fanboy...... isnt this just common sense? you dont launch a new console without anything to show for it.

I know here on this forum, Halo isnt a "big" deal anymore.... but surely its bigger than getting Animal crossing right?
Xbox bought alot of studios, Im sure a few of them will have something near launch to show.

"If there was someone who had doubts about your agenda in this thread, said doubts are certainly washed away now."

^ this sh*t should stop.
You cant have a civil conversation with anyone here, without people going "you have a agenda".

What the hell.
