In order to tap into a broader audience, MS is launching all their 1st party games on GP from day one and making them cross-gen for the first 2 years. I would much rather have seen Series X exclusives that were designed specifically for that platform. I just hope Sony doesn't do the same thing :)

I would say their plan is for ps5 only titles from day 1 (maybe not 100% of their titles) but those would not be downloadable for PS4 users of course.

Yeah who knows. Personally I don't care much for subscription services like that. There's no sense of ownership and they can just pull games at random. But it's probably a good way for developers to get their older games discovered, in the hope people buy their new game or DLC. For example, Borderlands 1 & 2 are on GP but not part 3. But I don't see the major developers putting their latest AAA games on it from day one, unless Sony or MS pays them a shit ton of money up front, that is.
