Just to keep in mind, they usually announce their General Directs about 24-48 hrs before they go live.
Usually, the direct goes live on a Wednesday or a Thursday because Friday is when the market closes and the news cycle sorta slows down until the new week.
Fridays, I guess in a business sense, are used for announcing bad news (i.e., Metroid Prime 4 restarting development) so the news cycle is relatively short instead of having the news linger for most of the week.
