Nice try. If switch is the common deniminator, it is a primary console. This comparison will be even clearer during the 10th gen, since the switch 2 is likely to release only 2 years after the ps5 and xsx instead of 3.

There is zero confirmation that a Switch 2 is happening. Nintendo might not go down that path, Nintendo does what Nintendo does after-all.

It's a primary console if it's the primary device that is being used, it's impossible to tell if that is the case from these statistics.

Just like there was zero confirmation of a ps5 happening before sony announced it.

It's a primary console for being the common denominator. As most would prefer a switch and maybe one of the others. Just like gen 7, where most got the wii and maybe a ps3 OR x360, but precious few chose both a ps3 and x360. Once again, this will be better visualized during the 10th gen, since all 3 of switch 2, ps5 and xsx will belong to the same gen.
