I'm more hyped for Animal Crossing than I have been for any game since Super Mario Odyssey. Smash included. It'll likely be the first game to break my major game purchase drought. I was very interested in Mario Maker 2, Link's Awakening, and somewhat Luigi's Mansion, but none of those pushed me over the adge. I've just been so content with the indie content on the Switch. But, especially after that last Direct, there is just no way I won't be pre-loading this on my system before launch. I've even resumed my work in Stardew Valley, but it hasn't sated that desire one bit.
