You have missed something : This is precisely, thanks to the recent explosion of S Korea, Italy, Iran, France and Germany, that it became now clearly noticeable that every countries on the Equator and summer season, simply had NO explosion or propagation so far, after the 20-40 declared cases 3 weeks ago because of their proximity with China.
It is that simple. Every countries over 25°C just don't see quick spread at all, just something completely neglectable.
Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Cambodia, Egypt, all these countries should have seen by the time the same explosion that we have been recently seeing in the north hemisphere which is under flu-ish temperature, like 8-12°C.(check the meteo of Teheran...)
Just wait May, the insane transmissibility rate of this "super flu virus" will just collapse.
But still : prepare 3 weeks of food if you are US / european, we will have some massive quarantine soon, this is statistically unavoidable. This is a dangerous super flu as long as we are in winter climate.
