I was massively against Brexit but I never tought of pathogens and borders. Maybe they had the right idea for the long term, as the EU's economy is crumbling around us, they'll be sitting pretty with closed boarders. The rate of which it is spreading within Europe, across countries is frightening. I hope the EU parliament has plans for eventualities like this because this isn't good for the future, it'll turn thenmajority of the population to nationalism if (when) shit hits the fan.

It's already in the UK though (2 new cases today to 15) and has Brexit reduced any traffic between the UK and the main land?
30 schools are already closed in the UK, Japan wants to close all Elementary, Junior high and High schools starting March 2nd. A 6th case has been found in Ontario, husband of the 5th patient that arrived back from Iran 9 days before going to the hospital.

Today I made sure we have enough of the regular cold, flu, fever etc meds in the house and stocked up on non perishable and frozen foods. Not so much to last through a long pandemic, more in case panic brakes out and a run on stores empty out all the shelves for a while. That would be the worst time to shop with everyone, some maybe sick, running around.
