Probably not. About 1/4th of the reason I buy physical gets eliminated when there is an absolutely necessary "patch" or supplemental download. If the game will still run without, no problem.
The other 3/4ths of my reasons for buying physical are having an item to display (which is technically by a code-in-a-box solution), being able to resell if wanted, and freeing up storage on my console.
