This won't damage Switch sales in the long term at all. The leggy games continue to sell while new games are released regularly, so any short term losses due to lack of supply will happen to be hardware purchases at a later date.

The cause for the supply constraints may be different than in 2017 (Switch hardware) or late 2019 (Ring Fit Adventure), but the outcome is the same.

Yep. Worst case scenario, they manufacture more units later until it satisfies pent up demand from shortages.
