So the same is around 38 gigs on PS4/XB.
So I wonder how big the download will be for the switch.

What's the most amount of space the switch has without adding extra storage? Around 24 or so?

Yeah, right around there. But, a 128 GB card is about 12 bucks. It's crazy to imagine memory being an issue at this point. I have a 512 GB and it was 60 dollars.

NAND isn't ROM. ROM is what the Switch carts use, it's more durable and shouldn't suffer from bit flip and loss of data... Thus not directly comparable.

Games prices are dictated by demand and how new it is and goes down from there. You complaining about being charged what....less then $5 for a cartridge you aren’t getting? That’s not how game pricing works

To be fair... Games on Nintendo platforms tend to hold value for allot longer than Xbox, PC or Playstation, regardless of supply/demand.
I.E. Breath of the Wild on Switch is still $90 AUD, the price of a new release... $80 AUD for a Pre-Owned copy... And still $70 AUD on WiiU for a Pre-Owned copy. Digital Copies aren't any cheaper either, which has unlimited supply.

I don't see The Outer Worlds being lower in price if it released as a digital-only variant, I don't see it dropping in price quickly either.

It is, what it is, sadly.

Even if that were not the case however, you cannot be mad at this delay. Human safety comes first. A virus outbreak is never a joke.

The virus has been sensationalized heavily by the media though...
