NAND isn't ROM. ROM is what the Switch carts use, it's more durable and shouldn't suffer from bit flip and loss of data... Thus not directly comparable.

To be fair... Games on Nintendo platforms tend to hold value for allot longer than Xbox, PC or Playstation, regardless of supply/demand.
I.E. Breath of the Wild on Switch is still $90 AUD, the price of a new release... $80 AUD for a Pre-Owned copy... And still $70 AUD on WiiU for a Pre-Owned copy. Digital Copies aren't any cheaper either, which has unlimited supply.
I don't see The Outer Worlds being lower in price if it released as a digital-only variant, I don't see it dropping in price quickly either.
