Resistance 2 Better than Gears 2?

I would just like to see a little more color in Gears. Too much gray going on.

Same thing that makes Killzone 2 look fugly.

In that video obieslut posted, just look at the colors... no comparison.

Even easier to see when you look at the redwood online stage for R2.

 

Unfortunately one is FPS while the other is TPS, much easier to compare if both were the same style. Both games will be tons of fun no doubt, but with what GeOW 2 doesn't add, I must admit I am kinda disappointed.
