What the hell are you talking about?

What reality are you living in?

PS1 routed the N64. DS took it portable and smashed PS1 and N64 combined with the same graphics.

PS2 destroyed the GameCube. 3DS took it portable and combined with a real Nintendo home console smashed the PS2, again, with similar graphics power.

PS3 nearly caught up to the Wii despite a terrible start. Wii managed the job singlehandedly with last gen graphics. PS3 beat 3DS and Vita separately but 3DS was on a mission to kick Sony out of the handheld space so had to sacrifice sales.

PS4 destroyed the Wii U. - WiiU did an amazing job of lulling the home console competitors into a false sense of security. Switch will repeat the portable and 'real home console' success and toast PS4 sales.

Nintendo cannot compete in this market. Throw in Microsoft also competing for table scraps from Sony's table and there is no market in strict home consoles for Nintendo. - Nintendo can win a graphics race but can't get the 3rd party support that PC-esque systems get without changing the whole computer/videogaming paradigm.................which they've done on multiple occasions.
