A sad day in the history of our European Union. Usually I'm not too much on countries and a feeling of belonging here or there but tonight I wish to make clear that in light of European history, 2000 years of endless wars, invasions, massacres, hatred, nationalism, division, in light of the motto of my country (United we are stronger) and in light of the lasting peace that the EU has brought to the old continent, I wish to make clear that tonight I am PROUD of being European. This is the only flag I care for and that has a little bit of meaning for me:
