I'm a 37-year-old lesbian from *mumble mumble* Texas and am out to people I trust and (obviously) in some fairly anonymous online spaces like this. I have been in several relationships in the past, but am currently single and have been for a number of years, and I suspect thus it will remain, unfortunately.

I'm from South Carolina so I understand what it's like being LGBT in the south. I don't parade my sexual orientation in real life but I do post a lot about gay rights on facebook and whatnot. 

So you post on social media about gay right to vent your frustrations,or do you actively try to inform others about it?Or do you do it in groups for gay rights to feel connected and supported with people that had a samelike lifeexperience?
