Like Xbox One, people were kinda ready to dump the WiiU when the next gen hit. 3.Even the Pc version won’t really affect console sales because they buyers are PC gamers with no want to buy an Xbox. If Halo Reach sold 2 million week 1 on PC as a ten year old game, I wonder what Infinite can do. 4.Nevermind the marketing campaign has yet to kick in. This is a launch flagship title. It will have its own themed console. You have choice, but the marketing will make sure you want to play it on the next gen Xbox. 5.Unless you talking about XB1 limiting the potential of the Series X version. In which case I don’t think it affects the quality of the game. Series X will still be the best version and more convenient for gamers who have yet to get a expensive gaming PC. 6.Finally, I’ll say that when Sony inevitably brings Last of Us2 to PS5, because why not, I seriously doubt gamers will care that it’s hindered by its PS4 counterpart. Same goes for GTA5...gamers REALLY didn’t care it was hindered by its last gen versions lol. |
1. BOTW is anything but a technical milestone. In PS/X/PC sphere, the power matters.
2.Bigger userbase has nothing to do with the quality of the game.
3. I have personally jumped into 360 back in the days solely for exclusives. And I got a very decent PC that time.
4. So why even bother with X1? Especially with XSX being more powerful and expensive, Halo should be a looker that shows that.
Worst case scenario is that the game will run like shit on base X1 and XSX version will be underwhelming in comparison with multiplats or Sony games etc.
5.I'm talking about it and YES, it will directly affect the quality of the game. John Linneman said it plain and simple. Also, it is not like one dev is doing HI for X1 and the other on XSX on different engine etc. If that would be the case, the issue would be non existent really.
6. Remasters of the older titles, not launch-day AAA exclusives. Sony is bringing big guns here, better for MS if you are right.
