The film can star a bunch of genderless, amorphic, asexual purple monsters for all I care. Just make an interesting, entertaining film. Ideally with cool, nuanced world-building and/or compelling characters. Here's hoping Mandolarian is a fair bit more interesting, as this franchise is on its last legs at this point and in need of a new spark. Thankfully I've heard it's pretty solid. Thinking about signing up for a trial and maybe a month or 2 of Disney + to check it out. |
When isn't it easy to say? Anyone with common sense knows such things don't matter. This isn't the 1800s, judge a person by their character and actions, not their looks and sexual preferences. It's just really annoying for those obsessed over such irrelevances to project their obsessiveness on to everyone else. That because they care more about race/gender/sexuality than anything else and see everything through a political lens, that must mean everyone does.
Have you tried Jedi Fallen Order? Yeah it's EA, but the game is actually good and, at least last I recall, it has no monetization. There's also a new season of Clone Wars coming, and while it could still suck of course, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt as the series was uber good, best thing about the Prequel Trilogy. So there is still some quality left in Star Wars somehow!
