I'm surprised the Switch Lite isn't a bigger percentage of Switch with how much cheaper it is. Especially in Japan with their love of handhelds. 

I think the's a slight misconception about Japan not liking consoles it seems more a case that their hectic long day culture forced them to choose portables as that is the only way they can get a good amount of gaming this became more and more of an easier choice as portable tech began to deliver comparable experiences to consoles. With the Switch they don't have to make a choice between portability or home console which is why the OG model is the main bulk of sales as it's apparent many people still had an interest in home console gaming but likely decided on the choice that most suited their day and gaming habits this is possibly why the Lite isn't a bigger percentage.
