I'm surprised the Switch Lite isn't a bigger percentage of Switch with how much cheaper it is. Especially in Japan with their love of handhelds. |
Japan didn't just stop enjoying playing on a TV, the convenience factor and software is what caused handhelds to thrive and Switch offers both of those things in addition to being able to play on the TV so the added value is worth the extra $100.
Also there are a handful of games that either arent compatible or significantly inferior on the Lite such as Mario Party, 1-2 Switch, Ring Fit, Nintendo Labo, Fitness Boxing, Spirit Fishing, Taiko Drum, ARMS & Mario Tennis.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
