Size wise (with compression) (32GB carts), and cpu wise... the Switch should be able to run a Scaled down / back version of MHW.
The lack of loading screens, and ram size, and data streaming might give it issues though (I have no idea).
I think MHW2 will be designed around the PS5/XB2.
That might be harder to get running on the Switch.

They said that MHW is the offical line of MH, so its the 5th mainline of the games.
