E3 is in the worst shape it's ever been -- last year it was half-empty, and that was before they doxed thousands of attending journalists -- so Sony skipping again would make total sense. I'd expect them to announce their own big PS5 event(s) instead

wow so last year it was half-empty cause Sony decided not to show. That's nuts; Or E3 is already a sinking ship and loosing attendees way before Sony decided not to participate.
Edit: We are in a new era now folks. We're in a time where we can absorb information in the comfort of our home. E3 is dead.
