It's St. Stevens day and another year where my entire section of the Internet is dead. It always makes me realise how much I rely on this for my own happiness, background noise to keep the crushing depression at bay by flooding my mind with information 16/7hrs a week. Anyone else this reliant on the internet that a wave of depression comes the week between Christmas and New years?

And that's pretty much it. My dead corner of the internet.

Piece of advice: Don't rely on anything or anyone for your happiness or that anything or anyone ends up owning your ass!

Also there is always something to see on the internet. If nothing on VGC, other forums, if nothing there either then check out Youtube, if nothing there then go to Netflix, if nothing there check out some porn, if nothing there then watch the news, play video games etc. There is always something to do or watch, I think.

Of course if you are speaking about depression, it's another story. Depression can make interesting things seem dull and dreary.

It's weird cause I have not been depressed in such a long time. I don't expect good things to ever happen so I am not disappointed. I have achieved a sort of emotional equanimity that prevents me from either achieving happiness or depression. Those being human idiosyncrasies, I don't usually engage in such things. But that's just me, and I'm rather unique in that way.

Hope you get over your depression, mate
