2019 was pretty decent for PS4 imo. Quality might still be on its side, even if quantity wasnt.

I was about to post that no one thought PS4 and XB1 had a particularly great year last year. However you posted first, and now there is one person. 
I think most people who were paying attention know that PS4 had an amazing 2018 and were kind of dead last year. Sony didn't even go to E3, because they had nothing really to show. Nothing said in the OP should really be a surprise. Nintendo was releasing a ton of notable games during the second half of last year while Sony and Microsoft had almost nothing except the usual annual franchises. It doesn't surprise me that Nintendo had, in general, more total releases, and the number of notable games was a reflection of that.
