No, he wasn't murdered. He was a raging narcissist whose ego wouldn't let him face his accusers or submit to life in prison after living high on the hog. Hanging himself before he could be brought to account was his final "fuck you" to them. Given that he was likely to spend the rest of his life in prison, he damn sure didn't have any incentive to snitch on his clients to the authorities, either. There were no sweetheart plea deals coming to his rescue this time around.
