True, nowadays we don't expect such a reveal over at CES... However, when you start a show by talking about the Playstation, then giving figures about the playstation then having the big boss of Playstation America on stage, talking about playstation and the future of playstation, it causes a sudden big hype only to be let down when said big boss just walks out of the stage and you end up being like, wait, that was all? They just built the hype to just leave us hanging there?

So I'll stand by my original comment in this thread, Sony's CES com sucks!

It's literally how they started last year's CES.

Ok but last year the situation was different. It was NOT the year of the release of the PS5, Xbox had NOT YET shown Series X, rumors about the power of both systems were NOT as strong as they are right now. Perhaps Sony does not realize how close to launch we are? Or maybe they missed the surprise reveal of the Series X over at the Games Awards?

Ok I know it's not the end of the world but do you see a difference here: Microsoft surprise reveals the Series X by literally showing it in December 2019. Sony does not, then comes January, Sony has a show and... STILL does not reveal the PS5 or some specs, only speaks of general specs that we ALREADY know all about. It's a com issue that I'm tackling here, nothing more.
