First of all, I don't want a Switch 2 anytime soon. I'd like 3 more years with this system. Plus, as others have noted, a new Switch model now would not be that much of a leap over the original. We've got the newer model with better battery life, but getting significantly better performance to compete with the PS5 is still a long way off. In 2023 or later we'd be much more likely to get a system that is a true generational leap over the current Switch model than we are now.
