It's not so much about a Switch 2, it's about the next gen consoles coming out next year and how that will affect Switch sales. Like I said, the masses usually flock to the latest gadget when it comes to gaming. Right now that's the Switch, but if 60% of the Switch users also own a ps4/Xone, I wonder if the Switch can hold their interest when next gen consoles hit the market and something like GTA6 comes out.

Switch has been out for nearly 3 years now, it's well passed the shiny new gadget phase.

I'm sure a lot of DS owners had a PS2, didn't mean DS sales tanked when PS3/360 came out.
