You are strawmaning in hopes of avoiding my question and acknowledging the false equivalence you just made. I never said my view was consistent with critic consensus like you did, and there was no virtue-signaling in the movies themselves.

Back to the question, who's not looking at the movie critically, you or the critics? You don't need to answer though, the conclusion is obvious. You side with critics and speak as if they're an authority as long as they share your overall opinion, regardless of whether or not their reviews are fair n objective.
