Not crazy about either the name or the shape.
But I must admit if this baby is the beast they say it is, I totally don't care about the shape or name, if it gets the job done.
I won't buy it because I'm a Sony Pony or whatever we are called LOL but I must admit it's a nice piece of hardware and should I ever decide to try a system on the Microsoft side, it would definitely be this one.
For the sake of argument, let's say I want to buy it, here is my problem. With the shape of the Series X, how do I set it? The space under my TV is totally horizontal so I'm sure it would not fit in there. There's this table between me and my TV where I could simply put Series X on but I suspect it would be too high and get between my TV screen and my field of vision (the table in question is fairly high). Only solution left is to put the Series X on the floor. Bad idea as I've heard it's not advised as the important flow of air it would suck in would end up over dusting the inside of the machine.
So I don't have too many options left should I decide to get this monster and this worries me a bit cause I expect the monster I plan to buy (The PS5) to be big too in order for it to keep cool more efficiently despite what is expected to be a huge boost in power at least as much if not more than the Series X. So should Sony go with some kind of similar design, my theoretical Series X problem could become very practical and very real as the PS5 is an almost certain day one purchase for me.
