Was just looking up the sales and noticed the "Third Version" of Yo-kai Watch 2 launched just 5 months after the first 2. I think Third Versions of Pokemon are bad, but that's just scummy. xD

Yo-Kai Watch 2 (All Versions) - 5.8m
Yo-Kai Watch 3 (All Versions) - 2.26m
Yo-Kai Watch 4 - 0.29m

Series died a quick death, peaked massively with 2 then declined massively.

Not only that but even though the original released in Summer 2013, it didnt really take off until early 2014 when the anime began.

End of 2013-~275k

End of 2014-~1.3m

So for most people it was Yokai Watch in early 2014, Yokai Watch 2 in mid-2014 and Yokai Watch 2.5 in late 2014.
