In addition, Yoshida provided first details on Patch 5.2, titled Echoes of a Fallen Star, a new series of global FINAL FANTASY XIV Fan Festivals for 2020-2021, a new FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers art book, and the next free login campaign for the game.

Reshade 4.5 is now available for download, improves Vulkan & DirectX 12 performance

The team behind Reshade has shared a new version of this post-processing tool. Reshade 4.5 comes with better performance in DX12/Vulkan, and improves depth buffer detection in DX9 and DX12.
Moreover, this latest version of Reshade switches to using SPIR-V for shaders in OpenGL 4.6 for better performance. It also improves multi-threading of effect loading and fixes memory leaks in Vulkan.

LittleBigPlanet is coming to the PC as a fan remake, first pre-alpha gameplay trailer

Now here is a pleasant surprise. A group of LittleBigPlanet community members is working on a fan remake of LittleBigPlanet for the PC. This PC fan remake is called LittleBigPlanet Restitched, is non-profit, and you can find its pre-alpha gameplay trailer below.
As the team notes, this project will be available for free and is in no way meant to infringe the copyrighted content of the original title on which it is based. Obviously, the team is trying to avoid receiving a C&D letter. However, I don’t know whether Sony is fine with such a thing.
But anyway, the team of LittleBigPlanet Restitched is currently working on a brand new story mode. This story mode will feature universal moral messages, as well as exciting themes, curators, and prizes. Moreover, players will be able to play community levels, and create their own.

AkFumbles has released a pretty interesting mod for the PC version of Halo: Reach. As its title suggests, this mod allows you to play the entire single-player campaign via a third-person camera viewpoint. This is something that a lot of Halo fans have wished for, and it’s finally a reality.
Right now, we don’t know whether there are any bugs or glitches with this third-person mode. The modder did not share any such issues, so you may not encounter any bugs at all.

Well that was fast. Daybreak Games has announced that it will be shutting down the servers for PlanetSide Arena on January 10th, 2020. PlanetSide Arena launched in Early Access in September 2019, and a full release was planned for January 2020.
