What would be the point anyway? A Switch Pro released in 2020 would still be weaker than PS4 and still a generation behind PS5/Scarlett.

A “pro” would help interest in the console, the same way the PS4 pro and Xbox 1 X did for their systems. It is a good idea that Nintendo should do for the switch 

Not necessarily, the PS/XB fanbase care more about specs/high end graphics than the Nintendo fanbase does.
