Out of context, yes.
Nintendo has only reached several markets, which Sony has been operating since the PS2, just now. Until the fifth generation, Nintendo was focused on the two largest markets: the USA and Japan. I believe the Middle East and the derivatives market does not yet have large-scale Nintendo products.
If you look that, it's impressive.
