Oh? where can you go on the internet without any dissenting opinions? I honestly tried to think of it and suggest that when I made the comment but I couldn't think of anywhere where people who like a game are just left to discuss how much they like it. At least nothing with any level of popularity.

Reddit (and other sites) offer private group chats.  It isn't that hard to have a place where people talk games and leave the bickering at the door.  The constant bickering, which is exactly what is going on in this thread, turns many people off.  Either people can recognize this fact and make changes, or they can continue to drive folks away.  I'm at the point where I don't much care in either direction.  I am currently a member of two aforementioned private chat groups.  I suspect my time here will dwindle quickly.  I'm tired of people repeating their hate over and over.  As if others HAVE to agree and can't possibly just have a differing opinion.

And you don't view yourself as a part of that bickering in any way? I seem to recall a couple generalizing statements about those "hating on the game" from you. Perhaps if you were more accepting of people disappointed in the game and their opinions the bickering would be lessened, but I guess it's easier to put down those who were disappointed and then complain that they are able to talk about issues with the game in a thread about a game's metacritic score. What would you like everyone to discuss in this metacritic thread if not whether the game deserves the score? Because that's generally been the point of any metacritic thread.
