IMO, the most content available, the better. Even if it's a game I don't personally care about, someone else out there might.

I guess I said that wrong.  I'm just personally against buying ports, because for me, a coat of paint isn't worth buying a game again, and I'd rather just replay the old version and buy a new game.  Other people can spend money how they see fit.  I'm undecided on whether or not it's good for the industry as a whole.
