They do the same thing for the ds. They just want more people to buy their 5 minute developed junk that runs at 3 fps, and looks like n64 games, in the case for the ds,snes games. Anyway if this game doesn't sell well we know square enix doesn't like to play when they could get money, especially when they need it(FFXIII/Versus developement costs).
Edit: @ Okeydokey Square Enix already said it will be going to all regions before this.
