Looking for a game to play with my wife

Mario Galaxy or odyssey.  She can simply point the Wii Remote and collect star bits or move cappy around.  It won't get anymore simple.  With time she could upgrade to Mario 3D World.  I would start with Nintendo games, they are simple by default. 

I would also toss in Yoshi's Crafted World and Super Mario Party as other options.  Kirby as well.  Go Nintendo for ease of access.
