While I didn't see it, I would have liked to have seen Cat Stevens (Usaf Islam). That guy's awesome.

As for the concert. What gets me isn't the attempts by today's musical acts to do some good and get across a message, it's the disconnect between the ideas and the music. " Alright everybody, we're destroying the earth with our waste and mismanagement! So lets all listen to my song about a girl who broke up with me!" Where is today's Bob Dyllan? Who'se going to be the next John Lennon? When will someone right the modern day Peace Train?

Ultimately my hope for this concert is a small one, but an important one none the less. The concerts took great steps to reduce their footprints and run efficiently. If the musical acts themselvs incorporate those practices in to their future tours, then I'll be pleased with what Live Earth has accomplished.
