When things are stabilized in Japan, I'm curious how much the Switch family's baseline will increase with the release of the Lite. Also, will software see a similar rise? I'm going to be getting a Switch Lite plus both Sword and Shield next month so that I can play the game with my daughter.
It's very convenient for non-Switch owners to have a cheaper alternative if there's some games they are interested in playing, but at the same time I would expect attach rates to be "hurt" as it's likely that there will be many multiple-Switch households. I put "hurt" in quotes as I don't necessarily think that attach rates will decrease, but instead that they will rise at a slower pace than they have been.
