As I said in another thread, I think Demon's Souls and LoD are off the table. They said it was a big one and that millions would be looking forward to it. To me, that suggests the size of the IP and how many it's sold, either one game or the series. Neither Demon's Souls or LoD have sold enough for millions to be waiting for it.

I also think that the reimagining refers to how the game levels are set up and how it plays. Something that Blue Point wouldn't really have to touch unless it was a much older game/series. So, if it's a Sony IP, my guesses are Syphon Filter, Twisted Metal, or, maybe, Ape Escape.

Then again, it could be an IP that Sony doesn't own, but got the exclusive rights to, even if only for a year. Like MGS or Silent Hill.

And this proves? Demon's Souls is higher because everyone is speculating that that is what the remake is and it is a much more recent game connected to the Dark Souls series. No matter what remake they announce, it will jump above the others.

I do see the logic in it being Demon's Souls if we connect it to the Dark Souls series. Personally, I hope it isn't. We already have games that are similar to Demon's Souls thanks to Dark Souls and Bloodbourne. I also prefer remakes that are a giant leap in tech. While a remake of Demon's Souls would look great, it would still end up looking like a glorified remaster in the end, as Demon's Souls was an HD console release. Seeing something like SyF, TM, or AE going from PS1 to PS5 would be jaw dropping. Or even a PS2 game to PS5.

I'm not against a DeS remake. I just hope it's something else.
