The technology it employs certainly helps though.
I.E. PC CPU's and GPU's don't run at their highest clocks and voltages 24/7, sometimes not even while gaming.

A mechanical-disc-less future? Either way I will probably buy a few external drives for next-gen as no way is any chunk of consumer grade NAND going to be sufficient for the long term.

No helping those people. Just laugh at them and walk away.
If it's in a more public area, I will debate them of course (Like on a forum), not to change their mind... But for others who are sitting on the fence and can see the debate unfold.

There are few like that on even this forum...
They would rather believe their conspiracy theories/opinions rather than the empirical evidence that gets presented (In-fact was having a debate like this just over the last few days with a user in a PC thread), it's no different to those who believe the Earth is flat, we have all the evidence from all around the world and they still chose to ignore it and base their belief around a Facebook meme.
Best thing we can do is ridicule and point holes in their thought processes and walk away.

Ocean levels are rising, about 3mm a year if I recall correctly, which is largely driven by thermal expansion (Basic thermodynamics/physics.) and melting ice.
Climate change doesn't state you can't have snow or rain or cold weather events... Because climate isn't the weather.
Climate describes the weather patterns over long time scales, whilst weather is the immediate/short time scale event... I feel many anti-climate change proponents tend to ignore that fact by making assertions that "because we have snow, Climate change is a hoax". - When that is far from the truth.
And as a firefighter, I have the data on my region in regards to fuel loads, precipitation data, fire danger indexes and more from over the past century and there is a clear trend towards higher average temperatures and less rain... Not to mention more fire "events".
As a Marine Rescuer, I have the data for the oceanic side of the equation as well as I work with various marine/ocean organizations and businesses for various reasons.
I just can't get my head around why anyone would deny any of it.
