The idea of a touch screen is excellent........ on a PORTABLE device!
The usage for asymmetrical gameplay was never going to be a widely required feature. The touchscreen on portable devices and motion controls, on the other hand, have been the basis for some fairly compelling software. Motion controls aren't dead either, they're still in use with VR, Switch, and mobile applications, and it's looking like we're going to see a lot more of them in the next five years.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
