Actually FD has one of the easiest backrounds to render, since its essentially just a 2D animation. Lylats would be much worse since its 3D and has much more going on.
If you filmed with the lights off, leave them on. I noticed my vids looked much better once I did. Not sure how much you can do with a phone though =/
