Already discussed this RE4 issue in another thread. Many/most Wii games now retail for $80 here, which is still cheaper than most 360/PS3 titles ($100 or $120).
I believe the RE4 prices are simply retailers milking consumers - not uncommon for a new, high profile title.
By my reckoning, I think retailers are purchasing the game for about $37AU - so the price should come down quickly. I'll happily pick it up for either $50 or $60 (it really should retail for about $49...).

By comparison, "old" PS2 titles can be bought for 3 for $55. Its hard for any console to compete against these software prices (most are "old" stock, or pre-owned titles - being resold for a huge premium).
