Depends on when they started development and how far they were when they announced it. For comparison, when they announced Tokyo Mirage Sessions they hadn't even a clue what the game should be aside from a crossover. Another example is Persona 5 which was massively changed midway through development so it couldn't make its initially targeted 2014 release. If SMT 5 was the same mess then we could wait another good time.
