Because Dark Samus was a highly requested character and it would only make sense to change her into her own character. I didn't say add a new character there, I said make her more unique from Samus, which wouldn't take up an extra slot.

All characters in Smash are highly requested..... Ok fine, maybe not Terry Bogard. What makes her Special? If Dark Samus added to next roster, its taking up a slot.  I gave you conditions and you completely ignored them like I knew you would.
