Reading a little more into this Alec was the coder and worked on the games design but the story and scenario of the game as far as I can see were mostly a product of 2 other people who worked on it who just didn't have a bit of coding ability in them. So he was 100% responsible for the fact that it works as a game, but I don't think responsible for much of the story being told. Think of it like this... would you like your favourite movie less because the factory which made the camera's it was filmed on happened to be involved in a scandal. (I know he had more work than that on the project, but I'm just saying it doesn't taint the story of the game for me if this does come out to be true).
