Of course I can play games just for the experience, but once I have ran that well dry, having some challanges to collect is always a nice reason for me to keep playing. When I am faced with the option of continuing to play a game on Switch, past its play for fun point, or playing something on PS4, PS Vita, or Xbox also past the point of, just for fun, having Trophies/Achievements gives me something to work for. Being able to do something I enjoy, while earning a Trophy/Achievement, and some cash while doing it is a win-win in my book. That said, Trophies/Achievements arn't for everyone. If they don't matter to you, then your not missing anything. |
Okay thanks, I can get behind that; after you’re done with everything you wanted to do, you use the remaining trophies as a sort of expert challenges.
Makes sense, I could see the fun in that.
