I found Bloodborne to be really disappointing.  It seems like it is trying to be an action game using Dark Souls' mechanics.  Dark Souls' is an awesome RPG, but a terrible pure action game.  Then take all of the choices and freedom away from Dark Souls and you get Bloodborne.

Ninja Gaiden really is an action game.  Never played Nioh.  But if I wanted an action game, then Ninja Gaiden would be a better option.

Last reply before i return to work for a while......... When i finish Bloodborne, i'm going to play Dark Souls 3 next, looks like i'm going to end up doing the souls games in reverse order of their release. in terms of pace, which of the 4 souls games (Demon's souls included too of course) is shall i say.... speedier gameplay and tempo wise? were Demons Souls and Dark Souls 1 the pinnacle of this franchise?

In terms of speed of gameplay:

Souls 3>Souls 1>Demon>Souls 2

I played 2, than 3, than 1 and finally Demon.  Most everybody holds Demon and 1 as the pinnacle.  But I do not agree.  Souls 3 is easily the best.  I think Souls 1 and Demon have a bunch of nostalgia tied to them.  Most also hate 2, while it is my least favorite, I still loved it.

In terms of quality:

3>1>Demon>2

Just my experience, with at least 100 hours into each.
