So does this mean no more spider man game on PlayStation?

Different departments

Rage is rage, so don't be surprised if Marvel Avengers is suddenly only Xbox and PC.

Btw, for those saying this is all Sony's fault, and they're stupid to let this happen.....

"Disney asked that future Spider-Man films be a 50/50 co-financing arrangement between the studios, and there were discussions that this might extend to other films in the Spider-Man universe"

Sony would have been pretty weak to roll over on a demand like that. Disney already throws it's weight around enough in Hollywood as it is.

The thing is the article does also mention that Sony never even came back to attempt to find a compromise, the just flat out refused kept it at that. If they didn't wanna roll over on that they didn't need to, but to not even try to figure out something else that works out better for them, especially after all the success they've had as a result of this deal in the past, is still kind of stupid. It's like they were so willing to just walk away from it immediately.

They could be betting that more anger will go at Disney than them.....or if Disney has thinner skin.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
